well if you don't have emissions or cats it's not gonna hurt you at all. All the air pump does is pump air back to the cats on cold start up to help them warm up. I deleted my egr and air pump. And removed egr, haven't done air pump yet.
Just get the block off plates with it and you'll be fine
Plus it clears up some room under the hood.
