Default Quick Question

I want to put a cutout on my 99 WS6. I am a little unclear how this works. I have stock heads, stock midpipe, and an aftermarket catback.

Where would the cutout be placed? Do i need to get an offroad midpipe or can i just put the cutout in in-place of a cat....? Or am i ok? Also, what size cutout do i need? Im a complete noob at this...sorry

I hope my question is clear...thanks for your help

there is a perfect spot for a cutout under the rear seat on the passenger side. you could just get a 3", the stock pipes can be expanded to fit it. then if you get after market y-pipe/intermediate you wont have to go to a bigger one.

This should give you a good idea of the concept. https://ls1tech.com/forums/showpost....1&postcount=23

As for the spot, it is truly made for it, but does not de-pict that in the link I posted.
