Default rear main seal

I've been having touble with my rear main seals. I've put a few on and this last one only lasted about 2 weeks before it starts leaking. The last one went on smooth. The seal lips fit on great. I didn't notice any scratches or scores on the crank. What else could be cuasing this to leak? I am using a stock oil pump-unported.

Did you install it? When you pull the tranny can you tell where its leaking from on the seal( inside rubber or outside). The best advice I can give is make shure all the surfaces are cleen bur free, I use scotch bright in many cases. In some cases I put greese on the rubber surface on the inside next to the rotating assembly.
Also make shure you put it in the right way and that its seated properly I would guess you know this but you are asking.
