Default Problems with Fel-Pro Exhaust gasket with Dart heads?

I just unpacked my Fel-Pro 1438 exhaust gaskets that Dart calls for. I placed the gasket over the exhaust ports and the bottom overhangs just a little. I put the old GM gaskets over the ports and they do not overhang any. My local dealer is out of gaskets. Should I go ahead and use these gaskets? I am trying to get her running this weekend.

Thanks,
Bill

Can I reuse my old GM gaskets? I could use copper spray on them?

Assuming you have stock round port GM MLS gaskets, you should have no problems reusing the old one's. I purchased new one's for my cam swap but ended up cleaning and reusing the old one's. I didn't use copper spray on them.
