Default CPM disconnect before welding?

Do you have to disconnect the CPM before you do any welding, or is it enough to just disconnect the battery?

It indeffinantly cheap insurance. There's no such thing as being too carefull when it comes to worrying about your PCM my friend. Some just pull the Negative Cable off, I however, take both off. For the extra 30secs it takes its worth it!
