Default Lowering temperature. What is involved?

So can you just add a 160 thermostat or would you need to also do something with the fans? Possible reprogram?

You will notice cooler temps on the highway with just the addition of the 160 stat, but once you loose airflow (in traffic) the temp will just climb until the fans kick on at the factory settings. To see lower temps in traffic you need the fans reprogrammed.

What or who do I see to program? Will it throw codes at 160 or anything?

no codes will be thrown. the thermostat just opens sooner is all... your normal operating temp will be the same as well...

anyone with HPTunerz, LS1Edit, EFILive, etc... can reprogram the fans to come on sooner...
