Default Chaffing!!!!

I just notice something today when I was looking at my engine. My throttle cable's that go across the top of the engine and go to the cruse control (which I think it is), well they are rubbing against my intake manifold . It has started a pretty good hole on it, I am happy that I found it now befor it could have done any more chaffing. How thick is the intake manifold anyways? Everyone else should take a look at yours to make sure this isn't happening to your car!!!!

I have never heard of anything like this happening before. Maybe you could try routing the cable.

Well I will try to post a pic. Its really not that bad, but then again I don't know how thick the intake manifold is to know how far it has rubbed through. I fixed the problem though, I took a peice of rubber hose that came with my B&M tranny cooler and cut down the side of it and sliped it on the the cable. It's all good now.
