I just took off my intake because a wire was disconnected from the MAP sensor. Well as I felt back there before the intake was off there was a black oval type thing just layin back there. It screws in at the end of the block. It has some kind of plastic cover in the hole where it screw into. What is this and I think its broke because its missin part of the bottom and I think the other half is still screwed into the hole.

Sounds like it, very common to break off when removing an intake manifold.
