Default How are the knock sensors wired into the harness.

I bought 2 sensors and what I thought were harnesses, but the harness clips onto the sensor just has one bare wire comming out per sensor. The car wire harness has a plug that has 2 wires. My question is do I connect each sensor wire to each of the two wire harness wires? Or combine the 2 sensor wires, hook it to one of the harness wires and ground the other wire on the harness?

It's a good idea to put your car, year, motor details, etc in your sig.

This is the pigtail that I bought to replace my original:
http://www.sdparts.com/product/12601822/WIRE.aspx

On one side it has 2 wires, one wire for each knock sensor. On the other side it has a plastic connector with 2 wires.

Here's a picture from ls1howto:

The engine is a 04 ls6, in an off road application.

So connect each knock sensor wire to each separate wire on the harness.

I say it that way because I'll cut off the harness clip and hard wire the wires to the sensors.
