Default true duals and torque arms

So Im strongly leaning towards having a custom hpipe made for my car for my headers when I get them and I was wondering. I heard that using duals usually always requires a new torque arm thats made to clear long tubes. Is this true or is it possible that an hpipe could be built that clears it all together without having to get a new torque arm?

i would think if your shop can fab up an H with a little bend in it for clearance purposes it should be just fine

I have true duals and the spohn torque arm and relocation bracket happen to fit but scraping and high centering would have been a major problem.

Have a exhaust fabbed up after maybe an easier way or knowing a shop the does good fabrication work is key.

since drag racing right now is not my concern, i went with Edelbrock replacement aftermarket ( a friend gave me a great deal thats why)

I'm running 3" td's with the stock torque arm with no problems!
1st pic is the Flowmaster merge (sort of a cross between and "x" and "h")
2nd pic is the inside of the merge
3rd pic is the clearance between torque arm

i cut two to three inches out of the bottom side of my torque arm, boxed it in to give it strength. then tucked the driver muffler up into the tunnel (where the passenger one could already fit) . both bullets run only two inches apart and straddle right under the driveshaft. one slightly to either side of it but tucked way up in the tunnel. i have the best ground clearance of anyone i know with duals.
