Well prom is saturday and i would love to get my headers and ory pipe installed tonight. I was talking to my dad about it and he told me i NEED header bolts and gaskets. I thought i could buy new stock ones. Also can i use the stock bolts? Will they work for a week. I only have tonight to install cuz i have baseball games the rest of the week. Let me know ASAP! thanx!!!!

many people reuse their old stuff, both bolts and gaskets but I would atleast get new gaskets because I dont want anything to leak, but if they are MLS header gaskets I think you can reuse them without problems.

I know on American Racing and Kooks both recommend stock, which work perfectly fine when I installled a set of AR's. Might depend on your flange thickness, might not, pull one of your stock bolts out and lay it through the header, see how much you have to work with, most likely you'll be fine and they'll work.

I re-used my header gaskets the last two times I had my headers off with no problems. The header bolts should work as well. Your only possible problem would come from the length of the bolts.

I have 100k on my gaskets and they were still fine. Just scrape excess grime off and you will be fine. If you are too worried, I know I would rather just buy them then have to re-install them.

When I put my pacesetter headers in they came with these cheap foam gaskets and they broke while installing, needless to say I returned to my stock gaskets. As for the header bolts, the stock ones for me worked better, the ones that came with the install kit were too short.

I reused my stock stuff when I installed headers, no problems. Then I replaced with new OEM gaskets and bolts the first time I had the heads off the car. OEM gaskets > All others.
