Switching Flowmaster to Magnaflow
I already have long tubes and ORY on an 02 Z28. What am I going to notice when I switch from a Flowmaster catback to a Magnaflow? Power, sound, etc. The exhaust sound clips on this site don't play well through my crappy laptop speakers.
Also, I am assuming it's the Flowmaster muffler itself that sucks. I was planning to find a Magnaflow MUFFLER and have that welded in where the Flowmaster muffler lives, using the Flowmaster exhaust pipe. Am I right in assuming the Flowmaster piping is ok?

i like my magnaflow alot, its not loud, but it has a great deep tone to it, with absolutely no rasp to it!! u may c a slight power increase... as far as using the flowmaster pipes, thts up 2 u, but if it were me i would just go with the whole magnaflow catback bc its stainless steel, and in my opinion the tips are much nicer looking...there is a sponser on her doin the whole system for 389 shipped!! u really cant beat tht

Sounds like it would be a good switch. I don't care if I lose a little exhaust volume level as long as it still sounds muscular. Plus, I just put on 18" Y2K wheels, and the car feels a bit slower so I wouldn't mind getting a few HP back. Thanks, guys.
