Default Edelbrock Stepped LS1 Headers...

...get TWO THUMBS UP.

I bought the Ti coated variant. Box came yesterday. Important features:

1) Stepped 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 inch design.

2) Ti coated outside AND inside.

3) Hardware? Freaking ALL OF IT, including O2 extensions. Did I mention that they include O2 extensions?

4) Slip-fit merge collector included.

They'll go on the car shortly (next couple of weeks) as part of a much larger project, but I'd like to say that at this point they seem to be the best value out there.

Reasonably priced, ALL of the choice (merge collector) and necessary (O2 extensions and fasteners and gaskets, etc...) components are included.

When I start getting dyno results, I'll post 'em.

Make sure you weld up the collectors before you but them on. Driver side is a little tight we dropped the cradle to get a little more room.

I've had the same ones on my SS for about 2 years now. I love 'em. Still no rust.

Summit had the best prices for me... maybe because they were shipping out of Ohio and I'm in Michigan, but anyway, that was the best price.

I love mine too. Came with absolutely everything you could ever need, and the install was really easy.

Summit sends these headers with the o2 extensions and all hardware also? For the price I see, its a hell of a deal.

Thats a damn good deal then. As much as I want the TSP headers, I might have to reconsider.

I've been running them for about 4 years, & dont plan to switch, unless it's to the stainless version.
