Default Need Help ASAP!!!!!

I think i broke the oil sending unit on my intake when swapping it. it looks like its broke right above the block. How hard is it to change and do i need a special tool? Please help asap

damn man we warned you to be extra patient back there... I believe you need a 1 1/16 socket to remove the old OSU (big *** socket). I picked up a new one from AZ for like $40. It's not a big deal. gl

Yeah i no but my dad was helping me and got to impatient and would take his time like i adked lol. Its no big deal i just picked one up but the guy at az was an ******* and he kept telling me the part was 220 dollars and i said no its like 40 and then he faound it and felt like and idiot

The make a socket just for gm oil pressure sending units at oriley for 10 or 11 bucks. What I do when I change intakes is leave the socket on the pressure unit untill you have the intake set. Then I remove the socket. That method has never let me down!

yeah 1 1/16 or 27mm will work.

I need to use your method.. That sounds like a good idea so I'll have to buy me this socket once I install the new KS and harness

Good idea with putting the socket on there broke my sender last month..
