Default Exhaust Problem

My Kooks headers have been leaking for about 3 months now and I finally broke down to pull them off and fix them. One of the air fittings broke off, and I filled it in with mig the best I could on the car, but it still leaks there and along the flanges on both sides.

I got the passenger off no problem, but I cant get the drivers off. I think that when I had dual cutouts welded into the y-pipe the guy may have penetrated too deep and welded to the header, needless to say it wont come off. The car is in my apartment parking lot and I cant lift it high enough to take off the header and pipe at the same time. What should I do if I cant get it off?

This is on a 2001 fbody M6 with an iron 402 and l92 heads.

Default

Can someone weld the air fitting without the header being removed?

I didn't even take a chance with the AIR/EGR fittings on my headers. I had them cutoff and welded shut
