Default LT cats and emmisions

Hi,

So I want stainless LT headers, and I already have a GMMG muffler.
I will proberly get a custom y pipe made up, (cheaper than getting one shipped) but I need to keep it road legal.

I live in the UK, and I believe our emmissions are 0.27 / 0.3 C02.

1. If I keep cats, what would my perfomance gains/loss proberly be?
2. If I add hi flow cats what would my emmisions proberly be?
3. And am I right in thinking hi flow cats are nearly as good (performance wise) as no cats?
I also herd I could have a y pipe made with removeable cats (for race days etc).
4. Does anyone know if this would cause problems with leaks or ground clearance issues??

Thanks for the help....

I guess they actually do a tailpipe test, and not just plug into the OBD2 port? Highflow cats should work well enough. It'll be harder to pass emissions even with cats if you get a big cam though.

it's PROBABLY, not proberly

yes high flow cats will be better than normal cats performance wise. I don't know about worse emissions.

Removable cats, are definitely do-able. Don't worry about leaks. Just get good gaskets if you do a 3-bolt flange or something. Depending on the cats, you'll have slightly reduced ground clearance.

I think you PROBABLY just pointed out my dyslexic mistake, it's a shame there's no spell check on this forum. (Why is dyslexicia so hard to spell !?!).

Yes I think so.

No plans to get a big cam (I did plan to keep the car stock though!!).

Removable cats, are definitely do-able.
That sounds like how I might have to do this.

Thanks you for your replys.
