Default SLP Dual/Dual

Is the factory SLP Dual Dual (the one that would come on a SS or Firehawk from SLP) the same exact exhaust as the one you buy from the catalog? I have heard from many people that they are NOT the same. I have been thinking about buying one BUT as we all know SLP no longer makes it and every now and then you can buy a take-off from a memebr, but would a take off be the very same as one SLP sold as an aftermarket part?

The same except the one sold an an aftermarket part would be guaranteed not to have the ring of silence. There were some installed at the factory (SLP) that had a washer like part welded in where the drivers side tailpipe exited the muffler for additional noise cancelation. Not many had it but some definately did.

They no longer sell the D/D. You may be confusing the Loudmouth that they still sell with the D/D.
