Default To run a Tstat or not to?

Are their any benifits at all to doing this?2.066 60' NA Ls1 ro's and Con's would be nice. My new EWP will be here in a short time.

Any benefit to not running at T-stat? I don't see any. However, I used to run no stat in my '00 after it became a track only car...for no obvious reason, actually. I didn't see that it helped nor hurt.

I wouldn't run without one on the street, however.
