low end torque
hey guys im kinda new to headers and i was thinkin about getting me a pair of long tubes i was wonderin which brand would give me the most all around preformance espically down low. thanks for the replys

I would go with kooks steped 1 3/4" to 1 7/8" they are the best for keeping low end exhaust velocity up for more low end torque as well as more power up top.

Looking at my PPC dyno charts.......and comparing before & after torque numbers......here's a summary:
2000 rpm - same
2500 rpm - same
3000 rpm - + 5
3500 rpm - + 10
4000 rpm - + 10
4500 rpm - + 21
5000 rpm - + 20
5500 rpm - + 10
6000 rpm - + 5
This is with the emissions style 1.75" PPC Headers and 3" y-pipe without cats, using the stock WS6 exhaust.
