Default Spacing accessory brackets??

Ok, I'm currently running the truck accessories on my LQ4. I'm thinking of switching to the F-Body setup, but don't wanna go through the hassle of changing pulleys. Could I just use 3/4" spacers between the accessory (or bracket) to keep everything lined up with the crank pulley? Are there any pros or cons with that idea?
