Default Quick question: Should I buy this used K&N?

Title pretty much says it...There is a guy near me selling one for 100 dollars.. I have an lt1 and they are usually like $250...I just dont know if a new or used one makes any difference. here is a pic http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r...5/DSCN6573.jpg

any advice is appreciated. please state reason why you think i should or shouldnt get it. -Bruce

My boy has one in his lt1 with no problems. But dam that filter is nasty! I say yes go for it.

Thanks for the advice. I think i will purchase it...the amount of money saved compared to a new one is pretty great. anybody else???

i would buy it but then buy a new k&n filter and you'll still save around a $100

the filter has a lifetime warranty anyway.....if its bad just take it to the parts store and exchange it for a new one!
