Default More power for a rock crawler???

I have a 2002 ls1 out of a WS6, it has headers and tuning. But I wanted to get some more hp's out of it. I was thinking of the GM hot cam kit with some head work. I do want to lose any torque, so what other options would be good?

A magnacharger would give you a lot of low end torque. If thats more money than you want to spend, I think increasing the compression would help out. Also if you want to find a good low end torque cam look for something with low duration numbers 215-225@.050 but find a cam on a 110 LSA with 2-4 degrees of advance ground into it.
