Default Searched no luck. Duel timing chain question.

I have a 413ci. And the single timing chain broke. Im upgrading to a dual timing chain with my new setup. What do I have to do to get it to fit with the stock timing cover? I know the oil pump has to be spaced out. Does the cover need to be modded and were if so.?

Thanks, Eric

I have a Rollmaster Double chain. It came with the pump spacers and clears inside the stock cover fine. That is with a LS6 oil pump

Get ready to curse a lot. Best to pull the pump cover and take the gears out. Put the pump body on and put the pickup tube into the pump input port. You can install the flange bolt later. Install the shims(taking special note of the orientation of the hole in the Bank 1 shim). Put the gears and cover back and install the bolts. I found this method make getting the pickup tube into the pump input port easier. If you try to get the pickup tube into the pump input port with the pump assembled your going to curse a lot more.
