Default How much for shop to do head swap in f-body?

1000-1500?
What are you guys seeing for charges?
It is more labor intensive in fbodys as opposed to vettes right?

Warranty labor is about 10.7 hours, so independent customer pay is usually 40% over warranty labor. The Mitchell time guide should confirm this. So about 15 hrs labor at what ever the per labor hour rate is in your area. Around here its about $75 per hour so a 2002 F car would be about $1125 labor plus parts at an independent shop. For some reason the Corvette the same year is 0.4 more labor.

We charge $750 for labor alone on a head swap. That doesn't include any additional parts, gaskets, or fluids.
