Default need advice for a set of heads

Im in the market for a set of patriot heads. I still have stock cubes but with a cam. Should i get ls6's or 5.3's is my delima. i would like to bump up the compression a little and get alittle more low end torque. any advice would be great.

what are your plans for the car? stage 1 is usually just a cnc port and the stage 2 usually involves larger valves being installed also. give richard a call at westcoastcylinderheads.com

I suggest the 5.3 if you have a cam of 240 duration because you cant mill the heads with cams that size with out fly cutting. Ls6 heads with 230 cams or smaller for the fact you can mill the heads more, and for the price it is the about the same so why not go with the ls6. If its good enough for the vett why not the f body.
