Cam swap with pictures Working on doing a Cam swap on my 98z, as well as replacing one head due to a stripped out rocker arm bolt.
Here are the progress pictures.
Pulled the intake off of the virgin.
Sure is a dirty bitch under the intake. oil and dust mixed together.
Got one valve cover pulled off. Hmm something doesn't look right here.
Guide plate seems to be worn, looks like the rocker wasnt tightened all the way down and allowed it to move on the guide plate. oh well new rockers and guide plate on the way. also looks like someone has put newer valve springs in it. springs are not "oil stained" like the rest of the inside of the head.
