Default 853 vs 241 heads...

So what would the main difference be between these heads? On an LS6 intake equipped, TR228 cam only 6.0L what hp numbers are we looking at?

They are virtually the same other than castings...241 may have a slight edge there. No difference as far as In/Ex Port vol.(cc) 200/70 and Combustion Chambers(cc) + gasket vol. 66.67.

The 243 heads were introduced for the first time in the '01 Z06 Corvette. They featured higher flowing ports, smaller combustion chambers, and for the Corvette only, they also had lightweight valves. Today, the 243 head is used in many GM applications from the LS2 engines used in C6, GTO, Trailblazers, to the 4.8 and 5.3L motors in GM trucks and SUVs. They are a nice step up in power compared to the 853 heads.
