Default Heads ported to much hurting me or something else?

Just curious some thoughts on a 393cu 3.900 bore,4.100stroke,6.125rod stroker with ported dart 62cc 225cc 205 1.60 valves, 11.1 comp, comp 238 240 .605 .609 cam, victor intake with 1000cfm tb. Im running 19-21 degree of timing on pump gas, thru pg and 9in ford around 400rwhp. I have not dynoed car just using weight and et mph figures. Now when it comes to running nitrous it really wakes up picking up over 12mph over n/a mph on a 150 shot, at a conservative 10.3-10.5 a/f. same timing on pump gas as n/a. This was first ls1 build and really expected better n/a numbers than what it does, but on spray im happy with the results so not sure if i should complain. Any thoughts on why this may be that may help me in maybe looking to change some parts on it this winter, thanks

too much fuel and not enough timing

edit: ohh and i bet you could run a little smaller fuel jet on the nitrous and pickup more power since your already running pretty rich
