Default advice from someone whos done this before

does anyone know with the mods listen in my sig if my stock bottom end will hold boost? if so how much do you think? 5 pounds maybe?

well your sig does not say anything about your bottom end being built or you having any mods that would make your motor last longer with boost im gonna have to say no one can say? all depends on mileage and how lucky you are sir

From what I've read you don't want to go much above 500rwhp if you want it to last. If you are already at 470rwhp it really wouldn't be worth the money to boost it. I'm guessing you have raised the compression a good bit with those heads so that would also hurt you when trying to boost it. My advice is to be happy with the setup you have or sell your current shortblock/heads and build a boost friendly combo.

I'm blame myself for this because I tried to tune it but here are some pic's of my engine. I could have saved myself a lot of money if I would have pulled the engine out and sold it before I hurt it. https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...ts-inside.html

I don't know a lot about FI but i read a lot on here.

Not many cars bottom ends last long above 500rwhp, sure some get lucky, (i read a lot), but i personally wouldn't go above 500rwhp.

There is no magic number though...some just have bad luck.
