Default high oil presure

I got to work today and was flipping through the read outs and noticed the oil presure was off the charts. It was at 80psi or so. normaly it is around 30psi. It is an 05 cts-v ls6. I'm due for an oil change right away. There are no new bad sounds besides the vibration which I figured is motor mounts. I don't think jumping that much presure is normal and I'm concerened. Would this be a bad sender or is something internaly wrong? Going to thaw the car out tonight and try it again latter.

Your oil pressure sender may be going flakey.

Scared the crap out of me the first time mine failed (went to 0 and the DIC popped up a warning).

Thats what I figured. Noticed yesterday that before I started it I was at 38 psi. It didn't throw any codes though.
