Default Cam Bearing help

I am replacing the cam in a Long Block that I purchased. It seems someone installed new cam bearings and they are pretty dinged up. I know these bearings are really soft and the dings and scratches are not that big of an issue. But I am now curious wether or not the oil holes are orientated right? Does the cam bore have groves cast into them or is the oil path a straight shot from the oil hole in the block to the oil hole in the bearing. Im curious if there is some room for error on the orientation of the bearings?

There is room for error, but not much. Im guessing MAYBE 1mm to get the holes lined up correctly.
