Well, helped a buddy put a SC on his car so he gave me some ported heads that were assembled and used. I now I won't the springs on them, but is there any way to tell what vavle springs and retainers are on? Compared to stock, these seem to have some sort of powdercoat on them (no blue stripe). They are also beehive shaped. The retainers have next to no surface tarnish on them compared to the stockers I have from a set of trash heads I got.

Nope, not yellow, Seen those on a set of ls6 heads. I'll try to get pics, they are powder coated grey.

Could they be manley's, these were supposedly some MTI ported heads. There is no number to identify that thought. Can't believe there is no way to tell what springs these are. If it helps they are the same hight as the stockers, not sure if that matters.
