Default X1 cam redline?

my cam doesnt lose power till 6800rpm...is this normal? i dont have a prob with it, but im curious... Basically i dyno'd yesterday and did somewhat sad #'s...i know its my macs and cats so i got a new setup on the way..that and my asp about fell off LOL..

im pretty sure your 6800 peak is normal, especially for the x1 cam. post up the graph when you get a chance.

What all do you have with your set-up. You can see in my Sig what I have with my X1 cam. My shift point is 6400rpm and rev is set at 6600rpm. Mine really pulls hard up top. This cam likes RPMS! Tuning is a must!!!!!

ftra/lid/bellows/ ls6 manifold/ asp pulley/ macs / RT cats/ loudmouth/ x1 package...through a moser 12 with 4.11

My ported heads and X1 cam pull way beyond 7000.

The better the heads, the better the exhaust, etc.. all will have an effect on the power/RPM range.
