243 heads on a 00'camaro?? would this help out at all??i found a great deal on some 243 heads,just wanted to see if this would make a difference and how much??

i would say if you are going to mess with all that to just get a set of performance heads, the patriots i have were a grand and added 36hp, if you have to buy 243's, then port them, then mill them.....you are going to be looking at less power, more aggrivation, and stock springs for close to the same amount of money.....if you were to leave the 243's stock maybe not a bad buy, i wouldnt spend more than a couple hundred though, just because there is other mods in that price range that will get you more power.
