Re: Where are the Knock Sensors?
in the valley cover...2 of them....
you'll need a 7/8 deep socket to get them out...and a pair of long pliers to squeze the connector so it releases...
plus you will need a 10mm to get off the intake and other goodies on the top of it....you canleave the injectors an fuel rails on...the whole thing will swing out of the way...the hose is flexible.....
I have to do the same thing too....bad knock sensor...throwing p0332 low input voltage knock sensor bank two....DOH!!!

Re: Where are the Knock Sensors?
oh yeah...and let me be really correct in what I said...technicallly they are mounted into posts in the valey...the valley cover has a rubber gasket at the bottom....an dont over tighten...they just need to be real snug...use a drop of locktite on them ....and do them both..no point in only doing one..only to have the 2nd one fail later...they're not expensive...get them thru GM parts...cause the auto stores dont carry them usually.
