Anyone have any ideas? I have a 01 T/A M6 with 100K,long tubes no cats and a cat back stock internals. I am using Valovline 10w-30 full syntetic high mileage. I noticed today that when I got on it hard is left a big smoke spot behind me. Also in about 2k miles will use approx 1 1/2 to 2 qts. noticed that I have a slight oil leak on the drivers side rear of engine. not enough realy to notice on the pavement. Is the oil causing this?Or is my motor valve seals or rings leaking? Any ideas? thanks

Smoke on accel usually means rings, decel usually valve gudes.

Also check to see if oil is being pulled thru the PCV plumbing into the intake manifold.

could be the valve steam seals.
