Oil starvation prevention mods?
hey whats up, my ls1 is a 99 im looking into doing some modifications that just aid in reliability of my oiling system.
going dry sump looks to be 2500 or so, and thats to pricey for me, i would rather spin a few bearings than that
one option i did see is accusump, looks to be about 350 bucks for a whole set up
anyone else have any other ideas? the car is built for drifting so it is going to experience some high speed cornering just wanting a little AFFORDABLE security, btw if somone knows a more cost effective way to go dry sump i would lol.

have any of you guys had any experience hacking up the stock pan, cutting out the sump area pretty much, then welding on some AN fittings to make a dry sump pan? and then just runnig an ARE scavenge pump?
My brother is a tig welder by profession so he could weld up a pan for me if you guys think thats a good option, still kicking ideas around right now

awesome guys thanks all great ideas, im going to combine all of them as well as run a 3 quart accusump im thinking that will definently get the job done.
alot of guys are saying accusmps have saved the motors and thats a good thing to hear.
