Default Head/Cam Swap...will I need new lifters? Rockers?

Hi all, I have done a search on this and haven't really been able to find a defiinitive answer to my question. I have a 2002 SS with 10,500 miles on the clock and am soon doing a head/cam swap as well as a 150 shot. The heads are Livernois Stage 3 pieces and the cam is a Livernois Stage 2 with 232/232, .595/.595 114LSA. I am just wondering what popular opinion is on changing lifters at this time, I know alot of guys are in favor of doing it because the old lifters have miles on them but this car is very low mileage.....also are stock rocker arms fine for this application? I am wanting to cut out un necessary expenses but I definitely want to do it right and not cut corners...thanks for the help!

I'd change the lifters while you are there, it's a hell of a lot better now than later since you've got it apart anyways... I'd have the stock rockers rebuilt and go with them...

If your heads have bronze valve guides, don't run the stock rocker arms... get roller rockers to keep the bronze guides healthy.

Good advice is not just "oh since you got it apart already might as well"

a good answer should be based on functionality and stability issues with the setup.
I personally don't have the answer for you, just saying the first 2 replies are no help.

What they are saying, and most everyone will agree is " it's cheap insurance to change the lifters while you have the heads off." You really do not want to get it all together and find out 6 months later you have a bad lifter. For $100 it just makes good sense.

No, you don't have to change them, just a good idea, just like changing your oil pump when you change the cam. LS7 lifters are the stock replacement now and are most popular now. They cost about $100 from any of the sponsors. I got mine from SDPC

As for rockers, stock are fine and there is no reason to change them.

It just makes the most sense to replace them wth u new up to date ones even tho ur car has low miles. I mean there is nothing wrong with running the stock ones but if it was me and my car they would both be replaced just my .02
