Default cam help

I know I am going to get flamed but I installed a 224r cam in my camaro, I went with the PAC springs all new gaskets and here is the kicker. I reused the stock pushrods, the cam has .581" lift and I am geting tons of valvetrain noise when it is above 1500 rpm's. Guess the question is this, will the stock pushrods flex enough to make it sound like I have no oil in the topend? collasped lifters is what it sounds like, I forgot to get the hardened pushrods and figured stockers would be fine until they came in. I am making sure I dont have other problems and hoping its a pushrod problem. Thanks! Oil pump o-ring is not pinched I didnt replace the pump and oil pressure is great around 65-70under load.
