Default Head Milling Question...

Hi All,

When you mill an LS* head, is there a point where the intake surfaces or the bottom of the intake manifold need "adjustment"?

TIA!

I think about .040 is about all you can mill 317's without running into intake fitment issues. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that's about right. I think you'll run into PTV clearance problems before you get too far for the intake not to fit properly.

Any V engine head will eventually need to have the intake milled to fit. Not sure what you do with the composite intake though.
