Default LS1 Lifter vs LS7

how can you tell the difference (visually) between the two?
also how can you tell if a lifter is bad when looking at it

I have bad lifters and I am buying a set of used LS7s (used on a dyno motor only) and i want to be sure i am buying what im being told im buying and that they are in good shape

thanks!

Well I'm not answering your question. But you can buy those lifters new for $122 + shipping from SDPC, no need to find used ones:
