Default Air Rushing Sound Turning Engine Over

I'm in the middle of one of my first head swap. Anyway I got the heads back on today with ARP studs (first time with these). My question is after I installed by the specs and assembled the valve train and headers I can hear a hissing sound as the engine builds compression when I turn it over by hand. The spark plugs are installed.

Is this just air moving past the cylinder walls since the car's been down for about a month. It is building compression just I can hear the sound of air maybe it's just air compressing in the cylinders. I have never noticed this before.

normal.. turning by hand is so slow that most of the compression leaks through.
