New Eagle crankshaft, should I grind it?
I measured out my new Eagle crankshaft for my ls1 and one of my main journals is .0003 out of round and I have .0005 difference beween my
largest and smallest main journal. Should I regrind this crank? The service
limit is .0003 for out of round on a stock motor (.0001 for new). I am not very happy with this as texs speed already balanced the stupid thing!

I think that you gave yourself the answer but let me help you. If the limit is .0003 and you are at .0003 then apparently you have to. if you have a .0005 total difference then you have not just reached the tolerance specs but surpassed it. Would I regrind it yes, as a matter of fact have Texas Speed rebalanced it. Better safe than sorry.
