Post Engine rebuild parts????

Ok guys with my car almost hitting 200K miles, I think a rebuild is in the near future. I'm still new to teh cars internals and exactly what they consist of. SO my question is can you guys tell me which parts will I have to replace to complete the rebuild? Also heard of 383 rotating assemblies, can they be applied to my LS1? and if they do which will be the best?...Thanks guys

yea you can use a 383 but you will have to have the block bored. Check with texas -speed they have a 383 rotating assembly kit.

Yea thats the one that I had in mind, but they offer different options in the combo, was wondering if you guys could help choose the best parts for my engine i.e. pistons, crank, etc? Also about how much will it for it to be bored?

You will have to check with your local machine shop for boring prices. Are you planning on being N/A or are you going to add some type of power adder?
