Default Will this be a good cam for my application? (quick)

I plan on ordering the 224/224 .581"/.581" 114 LSA.from texas speed...do u think this cam will be to big for my truck? its going to be a daily driver. i want to go with the 114 lsa cause i want it to idle good..this is going into a forged 370ci...

do u think i can make 410-420 rwhp with this cam? the motor is gonna have all bolt ons plus stage II patriot ls6 heads...thanks....i put quick on the title cause i want to order tonight..thanks in advance...

go for it . the 224 114 is almost the benchmark for the mid range streetable cam. i dont think you'll have hard time hitting the 400 range with h/c and full bolt ons.

Yea, most people with that cam/head package in 346's have been making around 425rwhp. I assume a 370 ci will make a little more.

I have a similar cam in my SS with all the bolt-ons, but stock heads. I've never dyno'ed, but I think it will work well in your truck because it sees to have a very strong mid range, with the low end not much different than stock. Off course the high rpms are way better than stock! Get some comp 918 springs and some hardened pushrods with it, and plan on changing springs every two years. It will idle pretty smooth after a good tune.
