Valve spring part 2
Ok so im starting a new thread for this cause its now a new problem. I have Comp 977 springs on my LS6 heads(bought the heads like that). They have been machined for the springs. I now know that these springs wont work with my cam. So what how do i go about buying new springs that will work with my cam and my heads sinse they have already been machined?? I will still need acheive .610 lift.

You are in a sticky situation you are not going to get any springs to seat correctly, (except 977's) and you can run the chance of doing a hell of a lot of damage to your engine if you try.
Me you I'd sell the heads on ebay and start from scratch. Your call, your engine, your pocket. Advice is free, mistakes usually aren't.

Ok so i just got off the phone with Comp Cams, they told me my only option other then getting a new set of Heads is to go with the Comp 26925 springs. They are a new design from Comp and require the same machining at the 977's which has already been done. He told me they would be a direct replacement and i could then get up to .675 lift
