Default Oil discoloration?

I just finished doing an oil change on my truck and noticed a "discoloration". The oil wasn't milky at all and my coolant looks very clean and clear. Am I looking into this too far? There were no metal shavings or anything like that but it does worry me. Has anyone noticed this?

BTW, it's an iron block 422 w/ about 1200 miles.

If you want it perfect & drive it hard, change the oil more often.
Normal for it to discolor though , the additives are breaking down the combustion by-products are introduced into the oil.
