Well I spun a main bearing in my camaro so now I am building a 408.
I am wanting to be around 500-550rwhp on motor and 700+ on spary, here is what I am looking at as far as parts, and will it get me to where I want to be.
LQ4 block.
408 storker kit through Speed Inc.
AFR 225 heads (2.08I 1.6E)
TSP Teaxs Giant Cam
LS6 intake (already have one)
200hp of spary
I am already full bolt ons so I have all the supporting mods
I am wanting to keep my compression around 10-10.5 to 1. So I can possible put a pro charger on it next winter.
Well what do you guys think, will that get me there?

If you are planning on putting a procharger on it I would say skip the AFR heads and sell your LS6 intake. Buy a set of L92 (LS3) heads and intake. That will save you a ton of money in the future for your procharger setup as many people have made amazing power with stock L92 heads. You could either get them cnc'd from TEA or WCCH. The cam would be pretty important to me so I would have someone who knows what they are doing spec out one for a boosted setup. If you are going to spend the cash on all the exspensive parts don't throw a generic cam in there because it sounds good. There are guys out there who know how to spec cams for custom FI setups.

Either build the motor for the procharger... ie 9.5:1 comp, or build the motor for n/a +spray, which would be 11:1+. 10.5 is too much for the procharger.
You'll reach your goal with the higher compression and a good matched cam. With the lower compression and cam specific for boost, you might not be pleased with it in n/a form.
