Thats a tough one bro.. There are people who love smaller cams such as the prove 224/224. And there are those who ran smaller cams and step up to big cams like MS3 237/242. It definitely comes down to what your goals are, and how good your tuner is. You can daily drive big cams no problem with a spot on tune.

There are lots of proven cams out there, that are great for all areas of the RPM band, but a lot of them are getting to be older grinds as well. I would into have someone spec out a custom grind for you, they will ask everything about your combination and what you plan to do with it and give you the best up-to-date answer you can get.

The options are unlimited my friend. I would say something along the lines of 228/232 110 lsa would give you a nice lope, and still give you nice power under the curve.

I'm running a EPS 226/230. Very streetable and makes great power all over the board. Contact Patrick G and have him spec you a cam. With a M6, a 226/230 on a 112 LSA would net you good power under the curve, have a nice lope and be a beast on the street. A lot of it's in the tune as well so be sure you get yourself a dyno tune afterward.

Tune is important, that's what I was getting at with the ms4,with the right tune you can almost run anything, but I would stay with a smaller, mid range cam with a good power band,I was very shocked with some of the numbers I saw from the eps cams

54-444-11 XER273hr is simple grind from comp cams off the shelf that has proven its self in a wide variety of applications...would do what you are looking for. Many good street grinds are close variations of this cam.

You won't ever find an all around "best cam". However, there are a few folks here that specialize in finding the best cam for YOUR setup. There are LOTS of factors involved with selecting a cam. Since you are looking for a street cam, you probably don't want something that is going to beat the living daylights out of your valvetrain like an LSK lobe profile.

I see good suggestions in this thread already. Contact Geoff @ EPS. He does some amazing stuff with the custom grinds that roll out of his shop.

I would however advise you to gear or stall appropriately to whatever cam you plan on running. Looks like you are an M6 though, so you should have a little more room to play.

I'd recommend our V2(22X/23X 111) our cam kits just happen to be on sale for $775 shipped. That includes PRC dual springs, titanium retainers, pushrods, new crank bolt and seal, timing cover and water pump gaskets. Or give me a call at 817-750-2000 for something custom, Chris

torquer 2 for sure. you'll want some 4.10s.

everyone has their own opinion on which cam to get, your best bet is to get a ride in some dif. set ups.

if it was my car i would go with a 220/224 111+2 LSA.but that's just me.
like was said, everybody has their own idea of what is streetable.
call an expert, tell him your combo/goals and go with what they recommend. don't sweat over a few degrees of duration.if in doubt,go with something on the conservative side.

Our VRX3 and VRX4 cams are EXTREMELY popular for our street customers... You can hear idle clips and watch drivability videos on our You Tube Account.

As said above, sometimes a "shelf" cam will not be what you are looking for.. If that is the case we offer custom camshafts as well.

All of our camshafts are currently on sale for $369.99
