Default Another Q this time about lifters

Will Comp R lifters gain me anything over stock lifters? whats the pros of them and r there any cons? Thanks and sorry for so many qs Ronnie

I have comp Rs but cant answer your question. I know my car dosent have a lot of valvetrain noise like my old setup did.

Pro: Way cheaper than stockers.
Con: Only marginally better than a stock lifter.

There may be some differences in preload tolerances with them over stock ones, too. Less turns are required than stock to get it right. They're not bad. I'll probably use them myself.

...i have them; they are not noisy and hqaandle high lift cams without aproblem...cheap insurance...
